Want to make a cup of coffee? Go online, Google it. Here’s what you’ll find:You buy the wrong coffee. Your pre-ground coffee is flavorless and contains dirt. You are grinding coffee all wrong. Your water quality is bad. Your water temperature is wrong.

As Murray Carpenter said on the show back in March, caffeine is the most popular drug in America. People love coffee and hate being told how to do things, which explains this country’s love affair with the Keurig, a single serving machine that uses pods knows as K-Cups. The pod goes in the chamber, you push down the lever, press a button, and out comes coffee. You can do no wrong.
