WNYC: Marc Maron Probes the Dark Inner Lives of Comedians

Marc Maron talks about beginning his career as a standup comic in the mid 1990’s, then moving into radio, podcasting, and television. He’s hosted “Morning Sedition,” on Air-America, and “The Marc Maron Show” in Los Angeles. Then, in 2009, he created the podcast “WTF with Marc Maron,” featuring interviews with comedians, old friends, and acquaintances, like Zach Galifinakis, Louis CK, Conan O’Brian, and Robin Williams. In his new television series “Maron,” on IFC, he plays a fictionalized version of himself.
